Ingredients
  

For the Strawberry Sauce
  • 5 strawberries (fresh or thawed) Organic is best for full flavor; use frozen if out of season.
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar Can be swapped with maple syrup or honey.
For the Latte
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder Use premium ceremonial grade matcha.
  • 1/4 cup water (room temperature) Filtered water is recommended.
  • 2/3 cup almond milk Alternatives include oat or coconut milk.
  • Ice Plenty of ice to keep your drink cool.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small container, add your strawberries and granulated sugar. Mash the strawberries until they become a chunky sauce and set aside.
  2. Sift the matcha powder into a small bowl. Slowly pour in room temperature water and whisk until smooth and foamy.
Assembly
  1. Grab a tall glass and layer the strawberry sauce at the bottom.
  2. Fill the glass halfway with ice cubes.
  3. Pour almond milk over the ice, leaving space for the matcha.
  4. Slowly pour the matcha on top of the milk, creating layers.
  5. Stir the drink to combine flavors and enjoy.

Notes

For added creaminess, froth the almond milk before pouring. Make the strawberry sauce in advance and store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
